PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
Folks,
We have reached the point of the year when a furry little guy named Phil leaves his luxurious burrow in the Punxsutawney library to greet visitors and share his knowledge of future weather events. If only we could use rodents to predict other facets of our lives, like how much longer a building’s air handler will last or if that pesky tenant is going to renew their lease…wouldn’t that be great?
After a truly inspirational presentation in January from Joel Graybeal, I hope you are all as motivated as I am to jump into February. This month is set to be the best one of the year. Our two social events this month will be our Committee Appreciation event on 2/8 at Rush Hour Karting and our Virtual Wine Tasting on 2/12. Watch out - I have been practicing for both!
Then on 2/14 we will hold our next chapter meeting at Prestonwood Country Club. Be sure to attend this one to hear an update from our friends at Boys and Girls Club. Looking ahead, I am excited for March Madness and our joint chapter Gala in March. Our planning team is working hard to bring some options for transportation so we can sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride together to Greenville.
Let’s hope Phil doesn’t see his shadow…

GTC OF IFMA FEBRUARY 2024 VIRTUAL WINE TASTING
LAST CALL to register for the Virtual Wine Tasting!
The GTC of IFMA Virtual Wine Tasting will take place on Monday, February 12th from 5:30pm to 7:00pm via a ZOOM link.
Cost is $40.00 per person and includes 1 red and 1 white
SPONSORSHIP: We are seeking 3 additional Sponsors that will be given 1-minute each to introduce themselves and provide a description of their company services on ZOOM.
Participating FM’s and PM’s will be divided amongst the sponsors who will hand deliver the wine.
Associate/Vendor participants and their guests will need to pick up wine directly from the Wine Feed

MIKE BRADLEY MEMORIAL IFMA FOUNDATION GOLF TOURNAMENT
 REMINDERS:Twosome registration will begin through CVENT at 9:00AM on Wednesday, March 6th, 2024. Members will receive 2 emails at that time-one for twosome registration and one for sponsorships and mulligan presales. Only 19 twosomes remain following annual sponsorship!
Tournament Date: Wednesday, April 24, 2024
Registration at 10:30AM with Lunch Provided Followed by Shotgun Start at 12:00PM

1) No company will be allowed to register for more than a foursome.

IFMA CAROLINAS SUMMIT & GALA REGISTRATION
In order to support the chapter and those who want to attend but may have concerns or questions due to the distance and time it would take to attend, chapter leaders are looking at an option of providing shuttle transportation to and from the Gala in Greenville.
If the chapter were able to procure transportation services, would you be more interested in attending the Gala and utilizing this service? If so, would you be willing to pay a minimal fee to help offset the cost to the chapter? If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, please reach out to Ethan Tecklenberg.

Come Behind the Scenes Facility and Field Tour of Fluor Field, located in the heart of downtown Greenville, SC. Includes an IFMA group photo op in front of the Jumbotron!
