Message from the President
|
|
I am very excited to be leading HRMA St. Louis in 2018. Past President, John Marino, led some very great initiatives, and it is my hope to continue to build on those in 2018. Highlighting our year was HRMA St. Louis' selection as a SHRM Pinnacle Award finalist with our first submission of the MO HR Day of Service project. Without the hard work of many members of our chapter, we would not have been a contender! Click here to read more.

January 17th Committee Fair, Happy Hour & Dinner Meeting - Leading as a Human Resource Professional: Influencing Organizational Change
|
|
It's the challenge of every serious HR professional - operating more
strategically, to be more influential and get a "seat at the head
table." But crafting a brilliant strategy is only a start, because the
world is not likely to beat a path to your doorstep.
|
In this session,
we'll go beyond the "what" to address what is, arguably, more important -
the "how": establishing credibility as a business professional,
developing your ability to influence, developing a dense web of trusting
relationships inside and outside your organization, and communicating
more effectively as a leader. You'll have an opportunity in the session
to actively begin developing action plans for improving your business
influence, expanding your network, and communicating - and to practice
all three with new network acquaintances! Click here for more information and to register.
