Presidents Message

While I am at home on maternity leave enjoying my new little one, I would like to take the time to introduce our new Chapter Administrator, Candi McDowell. You may have seen her roaming around at the Chapter Appreciation event in her cowboy boots and many of you may recognize her as she also acts as Association Executive for IREM Greater-Raleigh Durham Chapter 105 and Account Executive for BOMA/Raleigh-Durham. Candi is here to make all of our lives easier by getting out information to our Chapter in a timely manner and helping our Board and committees to streamline their processes.

I also want to take the time to wish you and your families the happiest of holidays!

Chapter Appreciation Event
This year's Chapter Appreciation was a huge success! With almost 200 members and guests, the IFMA Greater Triangle Chapter filled the Angus Barn Pavilion. This year's theme was country-western, and it couldn't have gone more perfectly with the iconic decor of the Angus Barn. The night started out with drinks and appetizers followed by dinner. We had several well-deserving recipients win awards:
Professional Member of the Year - Connie Drake
Associate Member of the Year - Amanda Beck
Rookie of the Year - Jon Rynearson
Committee Member of the Year - Carlos Duran
Sponsor of the Year - ValleyCrest Landscape

Congratulations to all who received an award! The night continued on with dancing and laughing with colleagues and friends. Let's not forget the famous photo booth! Thank you to all who attended the 2014 IFMA Triangle Chapter Appreciation event.  We look forward to continuing the tradition for years to come.
