This edition of your alumni newsletter is packed with news about your fellow alumni and from the University, as well as listings of coming events and activities for our global community.
This month we profile alumni achievers from several disciplines including Gary Allen, Co-Founder and CEO of Enabled.VIP, a virtual business incubator empowering Australians who live with a disability who wish to establish a small business.
We also celebrate the largest philanthropic pledge ever made to Griffith—The Paul Ramsay Foundation’s support for the Transform Lives Program, delivered alongside Queensland Corrective Services, will support incarcerated women and their children to improve outcomes for their families and break the cycle of disadvantage.
Also of note in this edition is the tour of our Logan campus by Jim Chalmers MP, the Federal Treasurer and—at the time of his visit—acting Prime Minister, making him the first Griffith alumnus to lead Australia!
We hope you enjoy reading this edition as much as we enjoyed compiling it for you.
Happy reading!
