Our Membership Committee is looking for volunteers! If you are interested in learning more about engaging with our members and becoming more involved with MPI St. Louis by volunteering, please contact Brittany Nelson, VP of Membership. Below is a list of current opportunities:
New Member Chair
- Contacting all new and transferring members by phone to welcome them to our chapter; ensure they are oriented to the chapter and share information regarding how to sign up when registering for the monthly meetings
- Present for in-person events in order to greet new members or the person who sends a board representative as the greeter
Recruitment & Retention Chair
- Support efforts by the Chapter to make contact with and track all guests and walk-ins at monthly meetings
- Develops and coordinates all membership drive initiatives
- Contacting members for renewals
- Member Recruitment

Chinese New Year
The Chinese/Lunar New Year was celebrated on February 1. This year was the year of the tiger! The Chinese New Year is also known as the Spring Festival or Lunar New Year as it reflects the start of the new moon.
It’s a very significant day in Asian culture. Locally, throughout the year, consider attending some of the Asian American Chamber of Commerce and the OCA (Asian Pacific American Advocates) events and/or supporting these organizations:
