Thank you to everyone who filled out our Annual Chapter Survey. While we did not have as many responses as we would have liked, we are eager to review the results and incorporate them into our planning for the upcoming year.  If you missed the survey, please as always, feel free to email any board member to relay your questions or concerns.

Our 1^st Professional Member Event & Annual Sponsor Reception was a great success.  Thank you to Randy and Hayden for securing our panelists, they were extremely knowledgeable and exciting to listen to.   This event had been requested for years and we were finally able to bring it to fruition.  Thank you to Networking & Events for your assistance with the event and social.

Last week’s Mike Bradley Memorial IFMA Foundation Golf Tournament was also a huge success. Buck and committee always put on a great event and we were lucky the weather held off.  The tournament nets several thousand dollars for the IFMA Foundation FM scholarship program.  We named the scholarship in Buck’s honor last year (as for years to come).  Thank you all again for such a good time and for raising funds for the IFMA Foundation!

Our sponsorship campaign will begin in mid-May and run into July.  Thank you to all of our sponsors for the 2014-2015 year, because of your generous contributions, we are able to provide the programs and events that make our chapter one of the best around!

The next GTC of IFMA After Hours Social will be held on May 21st at the Carolina Ale House located in Brier Creek, 7981 Skyland Ridge Pkwy, Raleigh NC 27617 at 5:30PM. Special thanks to Whitlock for sponsoring the Social. There is still one sponsorship available.

Also mark your calendars for June 10th for World FM Day where our members will reflect on their achievements.  We will be having a social at Natty Greene's Pub, 505 W. Jones St, Raleigh, NC 27603.

 2nd Annual IFMA Picnic

Save the Date for the 2nd Annual IFMA Annual Family Picnic & Cornhole Tournament on Saturday, August 22 from 11am-3pm. Bring your family to Lake Wheeler for a food and fun-filled picnic overlooking the lake - all compliments of IFMA. 

During the 1pm-3pm portion, we'll have a cornhole tournament complete with complimentary beer. Start lining up your tourney partner (family member or colleague) and come up a fun team name!  

This year bring boxes of wholesome breakfast cereal, which will go to the Food Bank to feed children in need!

Be on the lookout for the Greater Triangle Chapter of IFMA Annual Sponsorship opportunities, this will open on Monday, May 11th.  This program allows our Chapter to provide professional development opportunities, exciting and innovative programs and networking events for our members. These sponsorships fund the majority of programming and operations for the Chapter. We are extremely thankful for the support of all sponsors and strive to create a sponsorship program that benefits the sponsor. This year we are continuing to provide a variety of sponsorship opportunities. As a sponsor, your organization gets exposure to our entire membership through identification at events, spotlights, and recognition. Sponsorship is only available to Chapter members.  We do welcome both associate and professional sponsorships.

Inter-Faith Food Shuttle
Teaching Farm Volunteer Opportunity

Who Likes to Garden?  Roll up your sleeves to volunteer at Inter-Faith Food Shuttle's Teaching Farm on Thursday, June 18th from 1pm-3pm. We'll be helping with one or more of the following tasks: soil preparation, planting, harvesting, weeding, composting etc.  They also have options to work with chickens, goats, bees and worms. The Inter-Faith Farm is located at 4505 Tryon Rd, Raleigh, NC 27606.  Volunteer spaces are limited to 30 so don't delay on signing up!  Tools will be provided but bring your own gardening gloves.
