Incredible Pizza Company was a great location and host for our Social Media Panel on Wednesday, July 19th. Guests were able to enjoy the delicious lunch buffet and learn more about social media from our great panelists. Hello Members! I hope you enjoyed the meeting at Incredible Pizza Company as much as I did! Granted, I won the 50/50 Raffle, so there was that (after buying tickets for like, four years!). Our Trip Raffle was won by Sarah Bonderer, a guest from Fast Lane Classic Cars. Thanks to our Trip Raffle supporters, Explore St. Louis, Madden Media, PolePosition Raceway, and a mystery donor! We are always accepting donations for our Trip Raffles. It's a great chance to have your business showcased and mentioned to each attendee as we peddle tickets throughout the luncheon.
Rapidly approaching is the annual Silent Auction, benefiting the Carole Moody Scholarship Program. We had two amazing winners this year, and thanks to your attendance, purchases, and donations, we were able to award two $1,000 scholarships. I think we do the memory of Ms. Moody proud and look forward to the continued success of this program. This year the auction will be held at Das Bevo, a brand new venue in St. Louis. We are super excited to have you all there to shop, dine, and experience this new location! Be looking in your email and mailboxes for the donation requests in September. The auction can only continue being the raging success that it has been for years due to your generous donations.

Submit Your Nomination for the 2017 Spirit of St. Louis Awards!

Nominations for the Spirit of St. Louis Awards are accepted year-round. The purpose of the Spirit of St. Louis Awards is to honor those members of the attractions and hospitality industry who go the extra mile and put forth exemplary effort in helping to further the goals and objectives of the industry and the Saint Louis Attractions Association. The Association recognizes these noteworthy achievements each year at the January meeting.
Eligible nominees may have served in any of a variety of positions, ranging from front-line service to management, at an attraction, hotel, restaurant, or with any other associated or affiliated industry. Both members and non-members of SLAA are eligible to receive awards; however, nominations must be submitted by a SLAA member. You are welcome to make unlimited nominations.
