Dear ExampleContactFirstName

I am excited to announce that in response to a request from the Department of Defence – National PFAS Program, ALGA is providing various training components related to PFAS for Defence personnel.

With contributions from individuals drawn from the ALGA Board, ALGA’s Emerging Contaminants of Concern (EmCoC) Special Interest Group and the ALGA membership, the first module of training has been prepared. This is a 1-day “Introduction to Contaminated Sites with PFAS” module developed especially for the Department of Defence personnel involved in the National PFAS program, with the goal of providing a broad overview of how regulators and consultants approach sites contaminated with PFAS (and other contaminants), as well as a description of the assessment, management and remediation process that is likely to take place for such sites.

The first two of these introductory training sessions were held in Canberra, last week on Tuesday and Wednesday, with others to follow.

ALGA will be calling for expressions of interest from our members, in delivering future training sessions to the Department of Defence on behalf of ALGA after this first module is rolled out.

As always any suggestions or concerns do not hesitate contacting me directly OR use the "soapbox" button on the website.

Enjoy!
