Dear Members and Friends

Business China is a valued partner of the Chamber. We support Business China’s goals of improving mutual understanding between businesses in Singapore and in China and increasing people to people links. In addition, we are both members of an integrated network which supports the Singapore Mentorship Committee.

This week we are proud to feature Business China’s Advanced Leaders Programme (ALP) which aims to provide business leaders with an immersive opportunity to understand China better.

The ALP consists of 3 segments. It begins with a 4 day academic segment in Singapore late next month led by Business China’s partner The LKY School of Public Policy. This aims to prepare participants for an immersive 10 day trip to China in late August led by Dr. Koh Poh Koon, Senior Minister of State for Sustainability and the Environment and for Manpower. The third and final segment is a half day sharing of the learning achieved.

This apex programme is conducted only once a year and limited to 25 participants. An important element of the programme curriculum is to encourage interaction among a diverse mix of participants and their China counterparts. There will also be plenty of opportunities for dialogues, networking events and study visits all to ensure highly effective, experiential learning.
