Hello everyone,

I hope that everyone is happy and well, and preparing for the upcoming holiday season. It is an exciting time at SC Midlands ISACA, membership is on the rise and there are some great upcoming events on the horizon. ISACA International has rolled out the CSX platform for both corporate and individual training, so if you have not looked into it yet, please visit ISACA.org for some details.

We are always looking for volunteers! If you are interested at becoming more involved with the chapter and helping us set the direction for 2018, please contact any member of the board for details.

Cvent Email Invites:
On January 1, 2017, Cvent no longer supports Microsoft’s Internet Explorer versions 9 (IE9) and 10 (IE10) browsers for both users and those accessing our events, surveys, email campaigns. For the best experience possible, we recommend upgrading to a supported browser such as:
Google Chrome
Mozilla Firefox
Microsoft Internet Explorer

If you currently use IE9 or IE10, you should upgrade to version 11 or switch to a different browser as soon as possible. You will still be able to access Cvent with IE9 and IE10 but Cvent is no longer designing or developing new features optimized for it.

Certification Updates

Exam Registration

1. It is important to verify there is a test site available before you register and pay for your exam. Search by location and date to ensure you can take your exam as planned. Testing center experiences vary, so pick the right experience for you.

2. Once you verify that there is a testing site available where and when you need it, you can register for your exam. Scheduling for your exam is a separate step.

3. You can pay for your exam at the same time you register, or you can choose to pay later.  Please note that payment is required before you can schedule your exam.

4. Now that you have ensured site availability, and registered and paid, you can schedule your exam. Scheduling is managed on our testing partner’s site, not on ISACA.org.

Registration for the February-May 2018 windows is available now. The remaining 2018 testing windows will be 1 June-23 September 2018; and 1 October 2018-24 January 2019.
