Presidents Message
"To strive for excellence is admirable. To strive for perfection is a character defect.” -Tony O'Brien
First of all, let me wish everyone a Happy New Year! I hope the holiday season was enjoyable and you are rested and ready to start off 2015 on the right foot!
My quote this month hits home to me and I’m sure many of you. We all want to do the best we can, but we must realize that we are not perfect! Your IFMA Board is working to provide the best learning & development and networking & events that we can for you. Please know that as much as we are trying, we know we will not get it 100% right and always welcome your feedback. Please email me or Chapter VP Randy Rabon with any comments or concerns you may have.

Support our Troop Packs
It's time to assemble Rack Packs for the USO which will be given to troops within 48 hours after arriving home from deployment. Empty bags with instructions will be handed out at the January & February meetings; your assembled rack pack bags will be collected at the February & March meetings. Remember the Rack Packs may lay in wait for their new owners for more than a month. Please consider the shelf life and potential to melt (chocolate). All products must be “travel size” as the bag has to be able to accommodate each item. None of these items can be alcohol based. Items can include washcloths, loofahs, travel size shampoo, travel size conditioner, travel size body wash, stick deodorant (no aerosol), hand lotion, shave gel packets (no alcohol/aerosol), gum/snack items (i.e. beef jerky, peanuts, cookies, crackers, hard candy, etc), Kool-Aid/Tea/Crystal Light individual drink mixers, toothbrush (individually wrapped), travel size toothpaste, female pads/tampons, travel size scented body spray (no glass bottles), and makeup remover pads.
Let's band together and create an overabundance of Rack Packs in support of our troops!
