“I joined the ACTE team for the same reasons many of you are ACTE members. I want to be part of this industry’s future as opposed to a mere witness. ACTE is for the doers... The pioneers... And the visionaries. But it is also for the connectors, who make it possible for travellers to close deals and get home safely. I like working with people who make this industry happen, and contributing to their success,” said Jefferis.

A 20-year business travel industry veteran, Jefferis most recently served as director of API Management, for Carey International. Her diverse background spans travel automation, data management, multi-channel distribution strategies, sales support, and directing a team of 11 specialists. She began her career with Rosenbluth International in 1996. Jefferis is succeeding Amber Kelleher, who is leaving the association to launch a non-profit serving global communities in need.

“Jill Jefferis has a strong sense of membership needs and keen appreciation for business traveller expectations. Both of these are essential to the guiding outlook that makes ACTE events so attractive to our international constituency.
