Summer Training Schedule

AdvancED Virginia invites you to two summer trainings, one for schools and school systems with upcoming External Reviews and one for persons wishing to train as an External Review Chair, or who need to update their training (This is for Chairs who lead teams to other schools.).   AdvancED Chairs must attend one of the Chair trainings in order to be eligible to lead External Reviews starting in the fall.  These trainings are of the utmost importance, given that AdvancED is moving from seven standards to five and with the implementation of the new state-of-the-art web-based school improvement platform, ASSIST (Adaptive System of School Improvement Support Tools).  School and central office administrators are welcome to train and become a nationally qualified AdvancED Chair.   Schools and school systems with External Reviews in 2012-13 and 2013-14 are encouraged to attend an External Review training to learn the new process and the ASSIST platform. Choose the location that is most convenient for you:

External Review Chair Training

  • July 18-19, Spotsylvania County Schools Central Office, Fredericksburg
