The transformative $20 million renovation of Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort at Kingston Resorts® was completed this fall. Located along Myrtle Beach’s tranquil and expansive Grand Strand, the investment brings the new owners EOS’s vision to life for the future of the resort. The vision includes a repositioning and reintroduction of the Hilton property as one of the premier oceanfront resort destinations in the market.

Myrtle Beach has been named one of the best beaches in the U.S. by Tripadvisor.com and the Travel Channel. Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort was one of the first hotels in Myrtle Beach to receive green certifications by the South Carolina Green Hospitality Alliance.

The Hilton renovations include a complete redesign and upgrade of all 387 guestrooms. Room configurations are diversified in an effort to accommodate families, multi-generational travel and groups. Bathrooms have been completely modernized, including the addition of walk-in showers along with granite countertops and high-end bath products.

With an abundance of outdoor space, the surroundings have been reimagined into an upscale, social setting outfitted with inviting casual dining spaces offering light fare and beverages throughout the day, lounge seating, fire pits and games. The refashioned Beachcomber’s lounge includes unique design elements include floor-to-ceiling wood dividers that offer guests a more private experience while still enjoying the Atlantic breezes and views of the ocean.

Other public spaces and common areas have also been upgraded including the Dunes Ballroom, the hotel’s 16th-floor event space offering panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. The Hilton’s oceanfront pool has been upgraded with all new lounge chairs and umbrellas. Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort’s signature oceanfront bar has been refreshed and expanded to maximize guests’ access to unparalleled ocean views and fresh beverages.

The Landing at Kingston Plantation includes Spa33 and 78Fitness in the 29,520-square-foot architecturally stunning facility. The amenity combines luxury, health and fun. Social gathering and meeting space open up to a spacious green lawn with an outdoor fire pit, seating and a seasonal beverage station. The Landing’s outdoor spaces are as beautiful as its interior with brick walkways, manicured lawns and wide, inviting porches. This multi-purpose, special-event area provides even more options for meetings, receptions and social functions for members and guests.

Café Amalfi is a casually elegant restaurant with exquisite seafood, pasta and steaks in a spectacular oceanfront setting. The Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort also proudly serves Starbucks™ coffee in the lobby coffee shop. Room Service is available throughout the resort for those who want to dine in the comfort of their own accommodations from 6 a.m. until 10 p.m. each day.

“From our refreshed dining outlets to our newly configured and beautifully renovated guestrooms, we’re excited to offer an elevated experience for our guests,” said Bob Barenberg, Managing Director of Kingston Resorts®. “For several years, Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort has created so many memorable experiences for our guests, and we look forward to welcoming the next generation of travelers building memories along the Grand Strand.”
