Reggie Aggarwal, Founder, and CEO of Cvent, recently spoke with Forbes and recorded a podcast, detailing his journey from being $400,000 in credit card debt to selling his business for $1.65 Billion.

With 4,000 employees, Cvent has made the leap from startup to a success story. There were a lot of hard lessons learned along the way, but ultimately, Reggie knew the keys to success were not always as complex as they might seem:

1. Have patience

2. Hire really good people
