We're looking for Sales Development Representatives (SDR) who are ready to jump-start their career at Cvent. You'll be joining a team of bright, driven, competitive sales professionals who are hungry to make an impact at Cvent and on their own career. As a Cvent SDR, you will be provided with world-class development opportunities to equip you for the next level in your career.

All SDRs step into the Cvent Sales Development Program, a multi-year on-the-job and classroom training curriculum that prepares employees to ascend into leadership roles. Beginning with four weeks of extensive sales training, we prepare you to step out onto the sales floor and start reaching out to prospective clients. You'll be the first point of contact for prospects, and you'll then work side by side with your Sales Executive to turn those contacts into customers.

Meet the recruiters

Chelsea Tyner

My name is Chelsea Tyner and I am a Senior Campus Recruiter at Cvent. I graduated from Virginia Tech in May 2014 with degrees in Human Resources Management and Marketing Management, with an International Business minor.

After graduating I worked in various industries across the country, including manufacturing and financial services. Though not all my roles were in recruiting specifically, they all helped me to get to where I am today in my career. It goes to show that with the right mindset, the possibilities are endless. It was my previous role before Cvent, as a university recruiter, that got me excited about campus recruiting and ignited my passion for helping students as they take the first steps in their careers.

Specifically, I manage the campus recruiting process on the non-technical side for Sales and Client Services. Here at Cvent, I feel like I make an impact and it’s exciting to know that I am helping others join the Cvent family to do the same!

Samantha Alfaro

My name is Sam Alfaro and I am a Campus Recruiter at Cvent. I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in May 2016 with a degree in Psychology and Sociology. I had two formal HR internships during my time in school and that’s when I realized I had a love for recruiting.

I started off my career as a corporate recruiter at an insurance processing company and then switched industries to Civil Engineering. Both were challenging roles that helped me shaped my career to where it is today. My favorite part of recruiting has always been university recruiting where I can build strategic relationships and help students find a role they are passionate about at a company they can thrive at!
