The Challenge

Experience Grand Rapids needed to increase awareness about Grand Rapids as a meeting destination. They wanted to be considered by more meeting planners during the destination selection process.

The Solution

Experience Grand Rapids partnered with Cvent, and purchased advertising space on the Cvent Supplier Network, where over 67,000 meeting planners search and select venues each year. In addition, Cvent built a customized meeting planning guide for Grand Rapids to provide more exposure to their destination.

The Results

By purchasing a Cvent Marketing Bundle, Experience Grand Rapids rose to the top of search results for planners. From year one to year two with Cvent, this Convention & Visitor’s Bureau saw a 77% increase in their total RFP volume and a 93% increase in total number of room nights.
