Event Description

The year 2020 has indeed been a year of unremitting bad news. The Covid-19 pandemic is waxing and waning around Asia as each country weigh their containment measures against the corresponding economic and social costs. Not only has domestic demand contracted for all countries, global trade has also shrunk and compounded the woes across the region. In almost all Asian economies, neither the services nor manufacturing sector has been spared. Unsurprisingly, there is a tendency to be cautious about prospects for 2021.

There are good reasons, however, to expect a fairly strong economic comeback in Asia next year. There are of course downside risks, in geo-politics, trade and the financial system which need to be aired but overall, the key takeaway from this talk will be a positive expectation for 2021.

Financial Modeling is a discipline. A good model needs to tell a story and create confidence for the users and decision makers. Unfortunately, many financial models are a mess. Financial modelers are often self taught and left to figure things out on their own, often wondering if “there’s a better way”.

In this live webinar, Ian Schnoor will review a better way. During the session, he will present and discuss some critical tools and skills required to build a best-in-class financial model that inspires confidence and leads to optimal decision making.
