In 2012, ADL’s Mountain States Region created the No Place for Hate® Excellence Award. It is given to an active No Place for Hate® school that has excelled in their efforts to create & implement a No Place for Hate® activity or project that went above and beyond to engage the school or greater community for their No Place for Hate® Initiative within that school year.
To this purpose, any current No Place for Hate® School that has a program or project which it would like to submit for consideration of this award should make such a submission by March 6, 2018.
Partner schools must submit their nomination under one of three divisions, which means there may be three winners in any given year: Elementary School
Middle School
High School
All submitted nominations must include:
1) A cover letter fully explaining why this activity/ project should be considered; how the activity/project fits into the overall No Place for Hate school year and most importantly, how the activity/ project its impacted your school community.
2) Additional materials (i.e. photos, videos, newspaper clippings, formal presentations, , etc.) which further illustrate the activity/ project and its impact on the school community.
Please keep submissions brief but thorough. All nominations will be forwarded to ADL’s Education Committee for determination of the award winner(s).
Winners will be recognized at the annual No Place for Hate Celebration Breakfast and in all of ADL’s promotional materials in print and on the Web.
