Welcome to the 2018-2019 No Place for Hate® Mountain States Region Website

Open to K-12 Schools in Colorado, New Mexico & Wyoming

No Place for Hate® is embraced by public, private and parochial schools across the country, because bullying and bias are an unhappy reality in most schools today and pose a threat to the safe learning environment school officials know is essential for students to succeed.

The Initiative is designed to rally an entire school around the goal of creating a welcoming community committed to stopping all forms of bias and bullying. No Place For Hate® provides a unique framework to incorporate new and existing programs with one consistent message. No Place For Hate assists schools foster a culture of respect and create a safe, bully-free learning environment for students at all grade levels.

ADL's Mountain States Regional Office began the No Place for Hate Initiative during the 2007-2008 school year and since then over 120 schools and close to 500,000 students in Colorado and Wyoming have committed to creating schools that are No Place for Hate.  The schools that benefit most from this program make it visible and incorporate its message of respect into the fabric of daily school culture. They connect their social and emotional learning with whole school climate efforts and ADL's anti-bias education work is a perfect fit. Read this article in Education Week, which makes a strong connection: Anti-Bias Education: The Power of Social Emotional Learning.
