Question: Who is the Primary Member?
Answer:

Question: What if our primary member can’t go? Can we send a proxy attendee?
Answer:

Yes! The state chief administrator can designate a proxy, who will also have voting privileges at the Annual Business Meeting. Please register as a primary member/proxy online.


Question: How do I use my professional development buy up?
Answer:

During the registration process you will need to use your state's abbreviation as the coupon code to bring your balance to zero. Each state with a Professional Development Buy Up has a preloaded coupon code. If you are interested in upgrading your membership please contact NASCA HQ for more information.

Question: Can I bring additional State Members?
Answer:

Yes! NASCA Encourages participation from deputy directors and senior level staff. Registration rate for additional state attendees is $500. NASCA will make your room reservations based on the dates submitted in your registration. You are responsible for payment of said reservation and will need to provide a valid credit card upon check-in. You will receive a hotel confirmation 10 days prior to the event.

Primary Members: A $650 travel reimbursement, up to 3 hotel nights and registration to attend the Institute are included in your state dues.

Professional Development Buy Up: A $650 travel reimbursement, up to 4 hotel nights and registration to attend the Institute are included in your state dues. This is in addition to the primary member, and you will need a coupon code to use this. Please contact us at headquarters@nasca.org or 859-514-9177 for more information if you did not receive the code.

Question: What are my corporate benefits?

Please check your sponsorship benefits for complete details. To take full advantage of your benefits, we have created a checklist of sponsor items and deadlines for your marketing department to review.

NEW:  All Corporate Partners should book your room reservation here. NASCA Institute participants will receive a special meeting rate of USA $95.00 per night plus tax and fees. With tax and fees, it is $108.42 per night. The NASCA room block at the Sheraton Oklahoma City is valid September 22-25, 2019. The special pricing is only available until August 30 or until the group block is sold out. The hotel may continue to honor the price depending on space availability.  Questions on corporate partner reservation should be directed to the hotel.

**Alert** There are scammers out there – and on occasion they’ve contacted attendees claiming to be with NASCA Conference Housing. They are not. Please disregard.

Question: What are the policies in place for attendees?
Answer:

All registered attendees agree to NASCA's Data Use Agreement.  Corporate Members should review the Corporate Code of Conduct

Question: When is the registration deadline? Can I register late?
Answer:

The registration deadline is August 19, 2019.  Any registrations made on or after August 20, 2019 will be charged a $50 processing fee per attendee.

Question: How do I made a substitution, change or cancellation?
Answer:

Substitution – This is easier for you and your state/company if you’re unable to attend. Another state official or company employee may take your registration spot by emailing headquarters@nasca.org or calling 859-514-9177 with questions. Substitutions must be handled via email no later than September 18. After that date, please plan to make changes onsite.  NOTE: NASCA does not allow for badge sharing or registration splitting.

Change - Need to update contact information, arrival/departure date or add a note to a dietary need? Please email headquarters@nasca.org or calling 859-514-9177 with questions.

Cancellation – You will receive a refund for your registration fee less a cancellation/administration fee ($50 between August 20 and September 23). Cancellations are NOT accepted after September 23, but you are welcomed and encouraged to do a substitution. Have a question? Email headquarters@nasca.org.

Other registration notes:  Corporate members are limited to attendance guidelines determined at each conference. Corporate members are not permitted to bring non-member guests to the conferences or badge share.
