User behavior is a top concern for organizations. It is not a matter of if, but when an organization is exposed to data leakage and associated reputational damages. An effective incident response plan needs a solution to identify user risks in real-time, prioritize based on risk exposure, and respond rapidly to minimize damage.
You've built a microapp integration. Now what?
Join this session to learn how to get your microapps in front of customers and channel partners.
How has the COVID outbreak changed the way we work, and more importantly, how do we support our businesses and users?
This session is a rundown of how the global pandemic altered many aspects of the average IT administrator, consultant, or architect's life - and how we have leveraged technologies such as Citrix Cloud, Citrix Analytics, Packer, and Teams to adapt our posture towards work and security.
Citrix ADC has rich set of application & infrastructure metrics that can be used to build automated workflows. Some of these metrics include total hits to a vServer, HTTP request rate, SSL encryption-decryption rate, etc. which can inform clients of the load on the ADC or the application.
One of the most common and important use case of metrics is to auto-scale Kubernetes deployments so that resources can be used judiciously and applications can run without any hiccups. This is where Horizontal Pod Auto-scaler (HPA) can prove to be useful. Combining HPA with rich set of metrics provided by ADC, users can take better auto-scaling decisions.
Using the HPA integration as a sample, this session will show:

This is a story-driven session in which Jeroen Vonk and Gerjon Kunst from the Rawworks team showcase examples of how technologies such as Citrix Microapps, Azure Logic Apps and Runbooks can be used to provide answers to these questions.
This session provides an overview of the Citrix ingress controller (CIC) and its configuration objects using an example Citrix ADC deployment in a Kubernetes environment.
Citrix ADC combined with the CIC provides enterprise-grade delivery services for Kubernetes applications, with the benefit of load balancing, SSL/TLS termination, and support for content modification in cloud-native Kubernetes environments.
CIC derives ADC configurations from native Kubernetes objects (Ingress, Service, Secret, etc.) and a suite of Custom Resource Definition (CRD) objects. These Kubernetes objects expose configuration interfaces for a wide array of ADC features, including Routing, Security, Content modification, flow control, canary and more. This configuration mechanism can be used with Kubernetes cloud providers, including AWS, GCE, GKE, Azure as well as with bare-metal Kubernetes clusters.

If you enjoy waking up in the morning stress-free, then this session is for you. The session will present a scheduled Powershell script that performs various functions that not only report but take action with your on-premises Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) environment.
Most of the typical morning tasks that admins perform are automated, such as resolving unregistered machines, powered off machines, VDAs in maintenance mode, bad power states, machines with pending updates, and more! It’s also straightforward to insert additional custom checks.

There are two programming approaches: Imperative and Declarative. Imperative is procedural way where the main focus is on “how to do”. Declarative is functional where the main focus is on “what to do”. Desired state APIs follow declarative way of configuration.
Citrix ADC appliance can be programmatically configured using REST based NITRO APIs. These NITRO APIs affect one config entity at a time.
Desired State APIs affect the creation/update/delete of multiple ADC configuration entities using one call. This means that the user does not need to make multiple NITRO API calls explicitly.
Desired state configuration (DSC) plays a crucial role in the configuration, management, and maintenance of ADCs.
This session will cover how NITRO based ADC orchestrators should be developed.
As a use case, Citrix xDS-Adaptor will be discussed. Citrix xDS Adaptor is a microservice developed in Go which uses go-nitro library to create "desired state APIs" for Citrix ADC.
This session is a howto that discusses the integration of an on-premises IT administrator orchestration system (Jenkins) into Workspace using microapps. Workspace users can then trigger jobs from within Workspace. The described mechanism utilizes the Citrix PowerShell Remote SDK and demonstrates its capabilities.
You will understand:
This team from Citrix has an ambitious goal: to improve the wellbeing of 1 billion people by addressing the unique link between digital wellbeing and productivity.

Production Kubernetes (K8s) applications are often deployed on multiple clusters to achieve high availability, redundancy, and seamless upgrades. This session showcases a K8s operator that helps platform teams upgrade their K8s clusters while maintaining live traffic.
This operator leverages Citrix's multi K8s cluster CRDs. The operator gradually increases traffic to new clusters and keeps monitoring application health metrics, such as HTTP/HTTPS request status, errors, latency, etc. If the metrics are acceptable during this gradual upgrade, then the new cluster will eventually take over from the existing one. Otherwise, the operator rolls back the change.

This session demonstrates how API Gateway configuration workflows can leverage Swagger specifications for policy configuration to simplify the deployment and bring API developers closer to Operations.
Developers typically publish RESTful API specifications in the form of Swagger, compliant with the Open API standard. Swagger specifications contain policy-related information such as authentication and authorization, alongside detailed information about the APIs.
In this session, GitOps is used to deliver Swagger specifications to the API Gateway control plane in a Kubernetes environment. As developers are already using git as part of their workflow, leveraging the same into the Ops workflow is the next logical step to bridge both worlds.
The Solution consists of the following:
The session covers how the integration of ksniff with Citrix CPX in a Kubernetes environment provides enhanced debuggability.
Network-level debugging on a Kubernetes cluster has always been a challenging task. Tooling to provide such low-level insights into a cloud-native deployment requires deeper integration with Kubernetes environments and tools. Ksniff is an open-source kubectl plugin that utilizes tcpdump and Wireshark to start a live packet capture on any pods in your Kubernetes cluster.
The same tools also integrated with a Citrix ADC in VPX form factor to enable debugging in a non-CPX based deployments.
As companies embrace the shift to a remote workforce, it is essential to focus on those areas that keep end-user productivity high.
In this session, you will see how User Experience plays a crucial role in improving the productivity of remote workers and learn new techniques to ensure the User Experience always stays optimal.
Microapp admins need to maintain gold copies of their applications, while also having an easily accessible and navigable UI that lets them see details about database tables, service actions, notifications and pages. With this in mind, two tools are presented in this session:
