Orthopaedic Research Day highlights the importance of research and the current areas of investigation within the subspecialties of orthopaedics. This course offers a day of judged oral presentations by Fellows of the Florida Orthopaedic Institute and Residents at the University of South Florida. The conference is designed to allow young investigators the experience of presenting their research work to peers as well as practicing attending surgeons in a professional and supportive environment.
Physicians, fellows, residents, researchers, and other healthcare professionals whose scope of practice incorporates the treatment of orthopaedic ailments.
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to discuss the current research developments in every subspecialty of orthopaedics, including joint reconstruction; treatment of orthopaedic trauma; surgeries of shoulder and elbow, upper extremity, foot & ankle, and spine; sports injuries; and oncology-related therapies.
