Evolution from the Specialist to the Generalist
CFA Society Toronto is pleased to announce the return of our Annual Wealth Conference, now offered as an online webinar series.

As the number of competitors fighting to serve high net-worth clients increases so does the need to ensure that we all provide our clients with quality advice. It appears that the leading advisors are those that can evolve their business to focus on building a wealth program for their clients rather than the much more traditional one dimensional investment program.

High net-worth clients continue to demand that all of their advisors work together, and this collaborative client centric approach is becoming the new industry standard. Meaning that as investment advisors we need to continue to broaden the scope of our knowledge in order to be able to effectively communicate with our client's other advisors. This year's conference features a number of sessions which are designed to helps us all manage risks that are found outside of our client's traditional portfolios.

SESSION 1: Trends & Developments in the Industry
This session will look back at trends and developments in the private wealth management industry over the past twelve months and will also take a risk by looking forward over the medium-term. Keith H. Sjögren will cover the demand side of the business and comment on the size of the opportunity and the needs and expectations of the HNW client. The session will also discuss the competitive environment and the factors that have driven success as well as those that have created challenges for participants. Keith will identify key issues for the industry to tackle if the growth and results of the past decade are to be repeated or exceeded.
