Orthopaedic Research Day highlights the importance of research and the current areas of investigation within the subspecialties of orthopaedics. This course offers a day of judged oral presentations by Fellows of the Florida Orthopaedic Institute and Residents at the University of South Florida. The conference is designed to allow young investigators the experience of presenting their research work to peers as well as practicing attending surgeons in a professional and supportive environment.
Physicians, fellows, residents, researchers, and other healthcare professionals whose scope of practice includes the treatment of orthopaedic disorders.
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to discuss current research developments in the orthopaedic subspecialties of joint reconstruction, shoulder and elbow, orthopaedic trauma, upper extremity, and the spine.
