All Standard, Postdoctoral Researcher, and Graduate Student registrants receive access to the following:

• Plenary sessions and trade show
• Technical breakout sessions
• International Society for Biofabrication annual membership dues
• Sunday evening welcome reception
• Lunch on Monday and Tuesday
• Coffee breaks
• Shuttle transportation to/from conference hotel nodes and conference venue
• Sunday and Monday Poster Sessions/Receptions
• Laboratory tours

Note: Registration fees do not include:

• Access to the Tuesday evening (October 22, 2019) Conference Champagne Reception and Gala Dinner. (These tickets may be purchased for $115 each through the registration form. There are a limited number of tickets available, so ticket sales will be on a first-come, first-served basis.) Shuttle service will be provided from the Conference Venue and Hotel shuttle nodes (see Hotel and Accommodation webpage for shuttle information)
• Accompanying Person Tours
• Access to workshops. Separately ticketed on registration webpage.

A copy of a valid student school identification card must accompany form to receive student rates.

Meeting Policies

Note: The organizers of the Biofabrication 2019 event have contracted with TMS to provide conference services for this event.

Podium Presentations: Please upload the final draft of your presentation no later than two hours before the start of your session in the speaker ready room. There will be AV staff available in the speaker ready room to assist if you have any trouble uploading or checking your presentation. It is recommended that you check all videos to be sure they will play once you have uploaded your presentation. A standby speaker will be alerted to be ready to take your place if your presentation has not been uploaded by that time. Please download the PowerPoint template from this page for your presentation. Please let the conference organizer (mtgserv@tms.org) if you wish to post a *.PDF version of your presentation to the Conference App for sharing among the attendees. Here are instructions for podium presenters as you prepare to travel to Biofabrication 2019:

1. Download enabled links of presentations, via your preferred file hosting service (e.g., Dropbox.com; Box.com, Google Drive), should be emailed directly to the Ohio Union Audiovisual Coordinators (Richardson.560@osu.edu, Binnig.7@osu.edu, Nesler.1@osu.edu) 24 hours before your presentation date.

2. Please title your presentation files in the following format: Presenter Name-Presentation Topic

3. Upon arrival to the Ohio Union, please to the Speaker Ready Room (Senate Chamber at the Ohio Union) to verify the proper formatting of fonts, sizing, pictures, and videos within your presentation. The Presenter Ready room is the Senate Chamber Room on the 2nd floor of the Ohio Union, the meeting venue. The Ohio Union audiovisual team within the Presenter Ready room will automatically handle delivery of presentations to your corresponding presenting space for you once they receive your file hosting link and download presentation file.

4. Please bring a copy of your presentation on a USB drive as a backup. Any alternate versions of your presentation should be delivered to the technician in the Presenter Ready location at least 1 hour before your scheduled presentation time. Due to time restrictions, presentations from personal laptops will not be allowed.

Poster Presentations: Please prepare a poster that is no larger than 4 x 4 feet (1.219 meters x 1.219 meters). It is recommended to have at least 2 inches (5 cm) white margin. You will be provided tacks by the Conference Organizers. It is also recommended that you choose font and image sizes so that they can be read and/or seen easily from 5 feet (1.5 meters). Options for local printing of posters will be provided by October 1, 2019. Please let the conference organizer (mtgserv@tms.org) if you wish to post a *.PDF version of your presentation to the Conference App for sharing among the attendees.

Cancellation Policy: Requests for cancellations must be made in writing (by e-mail or mail) to TMS. (A $75 processing fee is charged for all cancellations. No refunds will be processed after the registration deadline of October 7, 2019. Note: The organizers of the Biofabrication 2019 event have contracted with TMS to provide conference services for this event.

Photography and Recording Policy:Biofabrication 2019 reserves the right to all audio and video reproductions of presentations. By registering for this conference, all attendees acknowledge that they may be photographed by Biofabrication 2019 personnel while at events, and that those photos may be used for promotional purposes, in and on Biofabrication 2019 publications and websites, and on social media sites.
