The International Conference on Biofabrication (Biofabrication 2019) is the annual meeting of the International Society for Biofabrication.
The Biofabrication 2019 Meeting App Will Be Available To All Attendees Indefinately
On behalf of the local organizing committee, I invite you to join us in Columbus, Ohio October, 20-22.
Biofabrication 2019 will bring together scientists, engineers, regulatory specialists, industry participants, and clinical investigators from around the world to present and share their recent discoveries, research direction, and views on the current problems and opportunities in the exciting field of biofabrication. Five plenary, sixteen keynote, ninety podium, and hundreds of poster presenters will gather for two and a half days at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. (The meeting program is now available for download.) In addition to a sponsor’s trade show, special fora are planned on publishing strategies, transnational research, regulatory issues, industrial technologies, and opportunities for young researchers, as well as a Gala Dinner at the Columbus Museum of Art. There will be ample time to meet old friends and new collaborators, learn about funding opportunities, and meet the organizers of national and international consortia dedicated to promoting the field of biofabrication. An R1 University, Ohio State has been ranked among the 100 most-innovative universities in the world for four years in a row by Reuters (UK), and is currently ranked 32nd. Both prior to, and immediately following, the meeting, attendees will have the chance to tour the Ohio State University Center for Regenerative Medicine and Cell-Based Therapy, Center for Design and Manufacturing Excellence, and the Institute for Materials Research to see the innovation taking place first hand. The meeting will be at the Ohio Union on The Ohio State University’s campus in Columbus. Columbus, the capitol city of the state of Ohio, has just been included as one of the top (see #47) must-see world destinations by The New York Times (https://nyti.ms/2RCc9Ol). I invite you to enjoy all Columbus, Ohio has to offer as one of the nation's fastest-growing cities and know that you will particularly enjoy the Midwest's fall foliage colors while participating in unparalleled presentations and discussing the rapid and recent advances in the field of biofabrication.
Welcome to The Ohio State University! David Dean
From basic science to medical applications, the biofabrication community will convene at the International Conference on Biofabrication (Biofabrication 2019). The field of biofabrication is dedicated to researching and integrating technologies such as bio-printing, bio-plotting, and bio-assembly into applications such as engineered tissue systems and regenerative medicine.
