Other Event FAQs

Your presenter will set the schedule for the week on Monday morning of the institute. They reserve the right to change the daily schedule. We strongly advise that you are available for 8 hours after your session start time. Your presenter will take attendance each day to ensure that everyone receives a 30-hour Certificate of Completion. Sessions will not be recorded for later viewing per College Board policy.

This Zoom Guide will walk you through downloading Zoom, joining meetings, using Breakout Rooms, and general best practices. Zoom is free; you do not need a professional, paid account to participate.

Other Items Needed

1. Reliable internet access

2. A webcam to use the Video option in Zoom

3. A reliable desktop or laptop computer

4. A quiet, well-lit space in your home

5. Casual attire – we want you to be comfortable!

If your presenter is using Google or Dropbox to share files, they will share that information with you on Monday morning.

We have ordered College Board materials for each of you. Please know that the College Board prints and ships the materials directly so we do not know when your materials will arrive. We asked that bundles be delivered by July 9th, 2021 at the latest. If you have not received your materials by Monday morning, please let your presenter know and they will share digital copies of the materials with you.

We will send Outstanding Balance emails on Monday morning of the institute. If you receive that email, it is because we have not received payment (credit card or Check) for your registration. Please forward that email to your billing contact. If you want to pay online via credit card, please visit our Payment Options page. If we do not receive your payment by Monday morning of the institute you will not lose your spot in the training. However, if we have not received payment (or an explanation of late payment) for your registration by the end of the institute week, we will hold your certificate of completion that proves you have completed the training.
