Compass Class

Compass Class

This is a full day class covering the CHS Hedging Compass system for grain originators or grain merchandisers.  The class will cover what products are available, how to use the contracting system, and how best to integrate the contracts into farmer marketing plans.  The day will be broken into two sessions. The morning session will discuss the history of Compass contracts and how they should be used for marketing plans. The afternoon session will be used to illustrate how that information works into realistic market scenarios.  A basic understanding of commodity futures markets is required.
