ISACA Members, cyberaudit, assurance, Cybersecurity Nexus (CSX), risk management, governance, and internal control professionals and practitioners new to the field and those with years of experience will benefit from this event. The training event offers an opportunity to expand your network and build onto your knowledge and skills.

Topic #1: Emerging Technology
Topic #1 Speaker: Bo Shevchik, AGA Emerging Technology Working Group (Bios are located under the "Speakers" tab)
Topic #2: Adopting Privacy centric security approach to save you from next breach
Topic #2 Speaker: Sameer Ahirrao founder and CEO of Ardent, Data Privacy (Bios are located under the "Speakers" tab)
Learn about privacy controls and what it means for government agencies and enterprises from subject matter experts who work on this on a daily basis. Learn how the following are impacting your organization:
· FISMA Privacy Controls,
· CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act)
· GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)
There is increased scrutiny on privacy specific controls with a number of privacy breaches and increased oversight for personal data protection. 14 states are working right now on comprehensive privacy regulation and efforts are the same at the federal level for new regulation. Apart from regulatory controls and audits, this provides a great opportunity, funding and reason for agencies/companies to do Data Privacy and Security Impact assessment and gear your Security & Privacy program towards realistic data centric security.
