The ISACA Central Maryland Chapter invites you to our training event on Wednesday, May 8, 2019. ISACA Members, cyberaudit, assurance, Cybersecurity Nexus (CSX), risk management, governance, and internal control professionals and practitioners new to the field and those with years of experience will benefit from this event. The training event offers an opportunity to expand your network and build onto your knowledge and skills. The training session is conveniently located at The Conference Center at the Maritime Institute (CCMIT) in Linthicum, Maryland.
Additionally, our chapter will hold our Annual General Meeting and Complimentary Happy Hour (drinks and appetizers) sponsored by Varonis and Trend Micro immediately following the training.

Faith in our institutions is collapsing, and GDPR is at the door. What would cybersecurity look like if we started from scratch, right now, in our hybrid, interdependent world? We will look back on our predictions from 2018, see how we did, then look ahead to our 2019 predictions. What has history taught us in the threat landscape? The Annual General Meeting and Happy hour are optional. Members not attending the meeting are welcome to join us for both. We do not have a separate registration choice for the Annual General meeting. However, there is one for the Happy Hour. If you plan on attending the Happy Hour too, please indicate so when registering for the Monthly Meeting so we can get a head count and plan for your attendance. If you plan to only registering for the Happy Hour, please use the same registration process (select register on this page) and only choose the Happy Hour from the selections. Cancellation Notice: Please refer to the “Fees” page for our refund policy for this event. Full refunds will be given if registration is cancelled prior to noon on Friday (May 3, 2019) before the meeting is held. Use either the link in your confirmation email or select “Already Registered” at the bottom of the meeting summary event page to access your registration (i.e., the email address used to register for the event and your confirmation number will be needed to access/modify/cancel your registration). If you need to cancel after that date, please contact Pat Hamilton via email at arrangements@isaca-cmc.org as refunds will not be given, although attendance is transferable. Reservations made after this time will be accepted on a first come, first served basis, but cannot be guaranteed due to space limitations and may include a late fee. ISACA Central Maryland Chapter reserves the right to cancel this event if there is not sufficient participation or due to inclement weather. Participants will be notified in the event that the monthly meeting has been cancelled and paid registrations will be refunded.
