Coronavirus: SFA is aware that our conference attendees are concerned about the COVID-19 situation. In an abundance of caution, we want to pass along some of the best practices that have been issued by participants in this conference, as well as other conference events. If you have traveled to/from Mainland China in the past 14 days, transited through Mainland China in the past 14 days, or have been in close contact with someone who has a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis, it is advisable to avoid attending large conferences, being in close proximity to others, or being in large crowds. Additionally, as always, please exercise good judgement and good hygiene while traveling. As February is part of our annual flu season, if you are experiencing flu-like symptoms, it is always wise to refrain from travel.
We remain in close contact with the Nevada health department and are closely monitoring all news from the CDC and State Department. But, again, in an abundance of caution, we advise smart decisions and good judgement on the part of all attendees.
