Questions & Answers

Question: My local plans to cover my registration fee. How do I indicate this when I register?
Answer:

There is an option on the Submit Payment portion of the registration process called "My local will pay for my registration." If you select this payment option, your registration will be submitted and your spots saved, however your registration won't be considered "finalized" until Education Minnesota receives payment from your local. Once you register, please make sure to forward your confirmation email to your local president to make sure they're aware of your registration. You will receive a confirmation email once payment has been received. Please contact Sam Jasenosky (sam.jasenosky@edmn.org) if you have any questions regarding local payments.

Question: I have registered for Summer Seminar, but I want to modify my sessions. How can I do that?
Answer:

If you click here to return to the registration website home page, click on Already Registered? in the bottom right of the page. You'll be prompted for your confirmation number--this was included in the confirmation email you received when you originally registered. Once you enter that number, you'll be brought to a page where you can see your schedule, and Modify should be an option at the top. By selecting modify, the system will allow you to make changes to your registration. (Note: if you return to the home page and see Register Someone Else instead of Already Registered?, that means you are already logged into your registration; to modify your registration this way, please click Confirmation on the navigation menu to the right.)

Question: What is the cancellation policy for Summer Seminar?
Answer:

Twenty-four hour notice is required for cancellation. The cancellation deadline for Summer Seminar is 10 a.m., Aug. 4. Locals and members will not receive reimbursement(s) for individuals who do not adhere to the 24-hour cancellation notice. If you need to cancel your registration and get refunded for the fees you paid, please contact Sam Jasenosky (sam.jasenosky@edmn.org) prior to Aug. 4.

Question: What can I do if financial hardship is a barrier to attending Summer Seminar?

Please have your local president contact Sam Jasenosky (sam.jasenosky@edmn.org) to see if there is any assistance Education Minnesota may provide.
