During the week of July 19-22, 2021, high school teachers are invited to participate in a unique training experience. The AP® Summer Institutes are subject-specific professional development opportunities. They provide teachers with the support and training needed to teach AP® courses and to utilize AP® teaching strategies. Teachers from around the world come together at these institutes to exchange ideas and information about AP courses and exams.
Three hours of optional graduate credit will be available from Wichita State University. CI 709AI, AP Institute Special Topics will be offered as a fall intersession course that requires completion of the APSI and some additional coursework after the Institute. The tuition is $210 for the three hours of credit. Teachers desiring graduate credit must submit a completed application form to the WSU Graduate School, a $60 application fee, and supporting teaching credentials or transcripts showing the award of a bachelor's degree. You will be billed by WSU for the $210 tuition amount. Payment must be made prior to credit being awarded. Transcripts may be required.
