The LAVCA Private Capital Update is a bi-weekly email featuring industry news, research, events, and updates on investors from private equity, venture capital, real estate, infrastructure, and family offices in Latin America.

LAVCA and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania are partnering for a third year on the Latin American Private Equity Executive Program, taking place in Miami, FL on November 13-16, 2017.
Prospective attendees include Vice Presidents, Principals, and Directors from PE firms, as well as professionals from family offices, and institutional investors. Relevant industry participants seeking to transition careers are also welcome to apply.
The program features sessions led by esteemed faculty from Wharton, including: Stephen M. Sammut, Senior Fellow at the Wharton School; Mauro F. Guillen, Endowed Professor at the Wharton School. LAVCA is currently collecting fundraising data from private real estate investors active in Latin America. This survey will allow us to take an independent perspective on the size of the market and to identify the main players, geographies, and relevant sectors in the region.
Due to the increasing private investment activity in both commercial and residential real estate in Latin America, we are expanding our efforts in this space. We hope to contribute to the development of the asset class in the region.
