PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
Hello Everyone!
As we roll into September, I would like to thank our GTC of IFMA family members who graciously sponsored for this upcoming year! We raised over $58,000 this year! Even though we fell short of our $70,000 goal, we are planning even greater opportunities to learn, grow, and network, and we want you to continue to be part of our growing and inspiring organization!
How about the August tour and member orientation/social!?! It was great seeing our GTC of IFMA family members, guests, and new members who made it out. Also a special thanks to our social sponsor, Carol Heckman from CertaPro Painters of Cary-Apex.
If you haven’t yet signed up for our September 11th monthly meeting featuring Speaker Kate Pearce, Planning Supervisor for Dorothea Dix Park with the City of Raleigh, you still have time! Go to the website and sign up today! Currently 73 are registered so let's grow that number!
"Remember the hours after September 11th when we came together as one to answer the attack against our homeland. We drew strength when our firefighters ran upstairs and risked their lives so that others might live; when rescuers rushed into smoke and fire at the Pentagon; when the men and women of Flight 93 sacrificed themselves to save our nation's Capitol; when flags were hanging from front porches all across America, and strangers became friends. It was the worst day we have ever seen, but it brought out the best in all of us." – Senator John Kerry
