A Message from the Chapter President, Mike Wescott

Dear AFP colleagues,
These days, many of us are working from our homes. I do not know about you, but this is not something that I was used to doing. About once a week I go into the office to pick up mail and I find that as that day approaches, I get excited just to get out of the house.
We all miss the interactions with our donors, other staff in the office and even the routine of our every day lives. These are challenging times, but I believe what we endure in these times of great adversity will make us stronger as individuals and professional fundraisers for the future.

This past week, your AFP Executive Committee of the Board met via a zoom call to review the state of our chapter and look forward to what we can and should be doing to serve our members over the coming months. We would like to hear from you as to what your needs are during this time such that we can hopefully respond to you in some manner. So, if you would all please consider taking this short survey, we would appreciate your responses. Your input will help us understand how we can best meet your needs both now and as we come out of the present stay at home orders.
Also do not be surprised if you also get a phone call from a member of the board to check up on you. It is our hope that we can make connection with all members over the next several weeks.
And please reach out to me if I can specifically be of any help.
