PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
"I wonder what it would be like to live in a world where it was always June." --Lucy Maud Montgomery
June is almost always perfect here in North Carolina, and as we transition into the summer months, it is also a time of transition for our Board.
It has truly been my pleasure serving as your Board President this year. We recognized our Roses, Buds, and Thorns and worked to “Grow Forward”. Membership and attendance increased with new experiences and events within the Chapter.
In May, your incoming Board and Committee Chairs came together in our planning retreat, and I am excited for what Tyler and the rest of the team have in-store for the 2024-2025 year.
Thank you all for your support, encouragement, and participation during my term. I’ll see you at the next monthly meeting on June 12th.

This program allows our Chapter to provide professional development opportunities along with exciting and innovative programs and networking events for our members. These sponsorships fund the majority of programming and operations for the Chapter.

GTC OF IFMA COLLABORATION
The Chapter introduced Joint Committee Meetings this fiscal year with cross-committee collaboration.
It was productive to share ideas from the different committees and understand how they can work with one another to achieve the overall goals. We plan to continue these in 2024-2025!
Also our Board and Committee Chairs held their retreat on May 16-17 under the leadership of incoming President Tyler Holmes. Goals were created for the upcoming fiscal year, and leadership is working hard to create an informative and fun 2024-2025!
