Air Emissions Reporting Update: No date provided as of this morning on when reporting will be required. EPA educational call TODAY at 1 PM.

PRO-DAIRY's 11/22/2017 e-Alert indicated that reporting of manure-based ammonia and/or hydrogen sulfide emissions from barns and manure storages that exceed 100 lbs. in any 24-hr period to the National Reporting Center (NRC) would not be required before at least January 22, 2018.

As of this morning, reporting is still not required as the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals has not issued its reporting mandate. Our team members on this effort at National Milk Producers Federation (NMPF) anticipate that the court will issue its mandate on or shortly after January 22, 2018.

An e-Alert will be sent as soon as the reporting mandate is released or when we have a related update.

EPA late yesterday reported they are offering an information call oriented specifically for producers on the CERCLA Reporting requirements at 1 PM Eastern TODAY.
