SKYVEN AWARDED $1.1 MILLION IN FUNDING BY THE CALIFORNIA ENERGY COMMISSION.

FRESNO, Calif. - Skyven Technologies, a Valley Ventures Cohort III alumni, has received a Notice of Proposed Award (NOPA) for $1,110,500 through BRIDGE 2020, a funding opportunity granted through the California Energy Commission (CEC). The purpose of Bringing Rapid Innovation Development to Green Energy (BRIDGE) 2020 is to stimulate clean energy startups that demonstrate exceptional promise and marketable technology.

With this award, Skyven will build an artificial intelligence (AI) platform to revolutionize industrial decarbonization. Inbal Nachman, Director of Strategic Marketing and Government Relations of Skyven said, “The AI will demonstrate time and cost reductions for projects that reduce Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions by an average of 50%, in service of our goal halving industrial emissions in the next decade." Skyven plans for their AI to improve with each project, enabling scalable and low-cost deployment across multiple industrial sub-sectors. “It is wonderful to learn that Skyven Technologies secured a significant funding award from the CEC to help transform the decarbonization of the industrial sector,” said Jeff Macon, Venture Development Manager of the Water, Energy and Technology (WET) Center

"Valley Ventures' guidance and insight has been truly invaluable to Skvyen's growth,” said Arun Gupta, Founder & CEO of Skyven.“From offering resources for product development to making connections that have catalyzed our growth, Valley Ventures has been actively working to help expand our business."

BRIDGE 2020 provides follow-on funding for the most promising energy technologies that have previously received an award from an eligible California Energy Commission program or United States federal agency.
