| In March we celebrated Global Meetings Industry Day (GMID) with a 12-hour live broadcast with MPI Global that provided updates on what our fellow chapters are doing to celebrate our industry's revival! During the live broadcast MPI CRV was also named as a finalist for the MPI Global Rise Award for Innovative Educational Programming for our creation and implementation of a 1-day experiencial education program with the Miss America Organization in December 2022. |
| In addition to being honored as a Rise Award finalist last month, our board members also set out around the region to advocate for our industry and meet with our peers. Our VP of MarComm headed up to Boston to celebrate GMID with the MPI New England Chapter at Encore and our President and VP of Membership visited with Manchester Community College's Event Management class to pose as clients for their final project. The class included a great group of rising stars looking to break into our industry and we hope to see some of those students at our upcoming events! |
