With the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games recently wrapping up, we congratulate our Griffith students, alumni and swim squad who competed across a range of sports. An outstanding 58 medals were won by 29 Griffith athletes in 48 events!
This month, we share more inspirational stories from our alumni—how overcoming personal struggles helped create a thriving career as an ADHD Life Coach and Education Speaker, how the value of education led the way from factory worker to Griffith PhD—and commend the achievements of our alumni in the areas of artificial intelligence, and protecting our waterways and advocacy for Indigenous knowledge and education.
With the ‘new normal’ we now live in, it is important to reclaim ownership of our work/life balance. Read on to learn how you can do this and reap the benefits of creating a culture of kindness at work.
We have a bumper edition of events for you and as always, opportunities for discounts, ways to support our current students, and networking opportunities with your peers.
We hope you enjoy this month’s edition!
