Dear colleagues,
I am excited to launch our participation in the Space and Aeronautics sectors, as part of Bilateral Chamber's continued growth. |
| We will be working with the U.S. Trade and Development Agency to host delegations seeking to build commercial opportunities with U.S. counterparts in aviation securities, civil aviation, and air navigation.
We will also look beyond the atmosphere and launch our expansion into the commercialization of space travel and technology when we host the reverse trade mission with public and private sector officials from Turkey’s Space Agency (TUA). This will be just the first of many trade missions we are slated to host in 2022 that will focus on space.
Join us, as we venture into these new sectors, and further establish the Bilateral Chamber as a leader in global commerce.

Turkey Space Technologies Reverse Trade Mission
January 10-14, 2022 | Orlando | Cape Canaveral | Los Angeles

Public and private sector officials from Turkey’s Space Agency (TUA),
TÜBİTAK Space Technologies Research Institute (TÜBİTAK), private sector
associations, and others will comprise this exciting and growing new
sector for the Bilateral Chamber. The goal of the RTM is to showcase state-of-the-art
U.S. satellite and telecommunications technologies, space-focused engineering
programs, and policies and regulations that could support the development
of Turkey’s space industry.
The TUA, a government agency within the Ministry
of Science and Technology, was established in December 2018 by a Presidential
decree to oversee the development of Turkey’s space industry. TUA is
responsible for coordinating all space-related activities. TUA is also
responsible for the development of a 10-year roadmap, which will outline
Turkey’s space activities, including education and training.
We are pleased
to organize this USTDA sponsored Turkey Space
Technologies RTM to the cities of Orlando, FL, Cape
Canaveral, FL, and Los Angeles, CA, as part of TUA’s strategy to engage leading U.S. companies to support the development of Turkey’s space industry.
