Please note that this session is targeted for Griffith Health staff, but all staff are welcome to attend.

During this session Paul Duvall, a lecturer and Director of Technology Enhanced Learning in the School of Medicine at the University of Liverpool, will share some specific Health examples from the last four to five years of PebblePad use at Liverpool’s medical school. Paul will describe how things have evolved to meet the needs of the school, the university and the students. In particular, Paul will touch on:

  • How PebblePocket can be used for off-campus data collection; use with external assessors; verification issues; management of external assessors and related issues.
  • How they use workbooks that are reviewed jointly by students and student advisors.
  • How the medical school is leveraging ATLAS reporting.

This session will provide you with Health-specific scenarios and experiences to inspire you and apply to your own context.

A Portfolio in your Pocket: Leverage the power of PebblePad

Register with course code
G25014

During this session, Paul will share some concrete examples from Liverpool and help relate them to your context. In sharing his experiences, Paul will share strategies that have gone well over the years, but also the failures and (most importantly) why they didn’t work. Paul will discuss offline uses of PebblePad, via PebblePocket, as well as how to leverage PebblePad for performance assessment.

This session will provide you with information, inspiration and ask you to reflect on your current practices to see if you could leverage the power of PebblePad for the first time, or revise your approach for your next iteration.
