AAFP Appointments - Evelyn Lewis&Clark, MD, of LaGrange, has been appointed to serve as an American Academy of Family Physicians delegate to the American Medical Association for a two-year term that began Dec. 15. As an AAFP delegate to the AMA, Dr. Lewis&Clark will serve as an important communication, policy, and membership link between the AMA and grassroots physicians. They are a key source of information for AAFP members on activities, programs, and policies of the AMA.
Loy D. “Chip” Cowart, MD, of Statesboro, has been appointed to serve on the AAFP Commission on Government Advocacy for a four-year term. The Commission on Government Advocacy is one of seven commissions that direct AAFP policies and programs.
