What's Happening with MPI San Diego
April 2020

A Message from Our President
We have found ourselves in an unprecedented time of change and uncertainty. I know things are difficult and scary. Now more than ever before, we must remember how resilient our people and our industry are. We’ve been here before – 9/11, Swine Flu, the Great Recession – and every time we came back more innovative, more creative, and stronger than ever.
MPI San Diego has been here for you during the good times and the challenging times. This situation is no different! Over the next few weeks, those of us on the Board of Directors will personally reach out to each MPISD member to check in. We want to know how you're doing, and how we can help you. Additionally, we will be sharing the MPI resources that are available via email, social media, and our website in an effort to help you through this tough time – job postings, membership payment plans, unemployment resources, etc.

Finally, MPI continues to be the leader in education and educational resources for our industry. Your BOD will also share webinars and virtual meetings addressing topics that will help you through the crisis, and provide meaningful approaches to rebuilding your business. We will get through this, and I believe our innovation and perseverance during this challenging time will be recognized and rewarded when we come together again to meet and celebrate.
I wish you, your teams, and -- most importantly, your families -- comfort and health during this time. MPI San Diego is here for you, so please don’t hesitate to reach out to us if there's anything more we can be doing to support you. This is an unprecedented time, but we know that we live in the best city with the best meeting professionals, and I look forward to the next time we are all together doing what we do best!

Stay strong San Diego. We will get through this the best way we know how – TOGETHER.
