Kellie, your contributions have laid a strong foundation, and I am committed to building upon that success as we move forward. I am honored and thrilled to step into the role of President of our esteemed chapter. I am fortunate to serve alongside a dedicated and talented team on the board. As we embark on this new chapter together, I encourage each of you to consider how you can contribute to our organization. Whether through your skills, expertise, or simply your enthusiasm, there are numerous opportunities to get involved and make a meaningful impact. One of the best ways to start is by joining a committee where your talents can shine and where you can help shape the future of our organization. Please mark your calendar for our upcoming meeting on July 10th. During this meeting, we will be swearing-in the new board members and providing more information about our committees and how you can actively participate. It will be an excellent opportunity to learn more about our plans for the upcoming year and to connect with fellow members who share our passion for excellence in facility management. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions you may have or ideas you would like to discuss. Together, we can continue to strengthen our chapter and make a positive impact on our industry and community. 		GTC OF IFMA ANNUAL SPONSORSHIP REMAINS OPEN! 2024-2025 Annual Sponsorship remains OPEN! This program allows our Chapter to provide professional development opportunities along with exciting and innovative programs and networking events for our members. These sponsorships fund the majority of programming and operations for the Chapter. We are extremely thankful for the support of all sponsors! ITEMS OF NOTE: ONYX SPONSORSHIP IS SOLD OUT! GTC of IFMA will add a 3% convenience fee to credit card transactions. This fee is charged by our credit card processor and is necessary to enable us to keep events free or at a low cost for all attendees where possible. 		GTC OF IFMA COMMUNITY OUTREACH AT RMH On June 4th, the Ronald McDonald House hosted our Chapter as we prepared a BBQ dinner for the families staying there. A huge thank you to our Community Outreach Committee, Professional and Associate Members, and Golf Committee for their support in helping us raise donations. Special thanks to Cory Barns for his hard work and grill master skills! The house supports families year-round and are still in need of meals as they are slowly recovering from the pandemic. Your generosity goes a long way in supporting families on their journey. Help us spread the good word and let's make a positive impact together!
		GTC OF IFMA JUNE MONTHLY MEETING RECAP Andrew Tomasovich with Kings III was our speaker for the July Monthly Meeting. He focused on emergency communications related to elevators. Some great points to remember as you spec out a new elevator are as follows: 1. Ask if the communication system is proprietary to the elevator company. 2. Make sure you have options for getting communications out as POTS lines are being decommissioned. We thank Andrew for this invaluable information.
