Dear Members and Friends
Cancer
impacts all of us: either
ourselves, our loved ones,
colleagues and friends. Here’s a
message from our friends at
Children’s Cancer Foundation.
Please give them your support by
either taking a haircut or by
donating.
With
our thanks and best regards.
Yours faithfully
Victor Mills
Chief Executive
One
of the common side effects of
cancer treatment is hair loss
which can affect the confidence
of children with cancer. At
Children’s Cancer Foundation
(CCF), we offer programmes and
services to support children
throughout their journey. We
help children understand that it
is OK to be BALD, we need YOUR
support to reinforce this
message.
This year's theme, “Hope is
Yours to Give,” embodies our
commitment to compassion and
unity, highlighting the
transformative power you have to
make a positive difference in
the lives of children and
families impacted by cancer.
Join us in making a BALD
statement at CCF’s flagship
fundraiser,
Hair for Hope
(HfH) – the only head-shaving
campaign in Singapore that
serves to raise funds and
awareness of childhood cancer.
Through the symbolic gesture of
shaving bald, we aim to:
-
Create awareness for
childhood cancer by raising
funds and helping children
and their families impacted
by cancer.
-
Tell children with cancer it
is OK to be bald.
-
Show children with cancer &
families that they are not
alone in their fight against
cancer by building a
community of support for
them.
Together, we can make a positive
difference in their lives by
shaving, donating, or advocating
for HfH.
