Meet Jim Phene, President and Founder of Epiphene, Inc. Epiphene is an irrigation company that develops water filtration solutions. After just two years of operating and joining the BlueTechValley team in August of 2019, Phene has garnered quite a lot of traction for his business. Phene exhibited at both the Irrigation Association Show and the 2020 World Ag Expo, and was named the new product winner at both shows!

“It’s always been about the education.” Phene said, citing his excitement over the publicity World Ag Expo brought to his company, including the chance to educate people about his irrigation filtration business to prominent members of the irrigation industry, including the president of the American Farm Bureau, Zippy Duvall.

BlueTechValley has been able to provide the 2019 Valley Ventures alum and his business with industry connections, press, and office space to hold meetings. Phene has even started referring others to the same accelerator program he graduated from. “I wasn’t sure I would learn much, joining an accelerator.” Phene soon found that any startup companies looking to expand their marketing and sales expertise would benefit greatly from BlueTechValley’s services.
