Griffith University Outstanding Alumni Awards
It's that time of year again; our Outstanding Alumni Awards are open for nomination!
Nominations close on 11 May 2018 so be quick to nominate yourself or a fellow graduate for one of the following award categories: Outstanding Alumnus, Young Outstanding Alumnus, International Outstanding Alumnus, First Peoples Outstanding Alumnus.
For the first time GBS is running our award program in conjunction with the other Griffith Academic Groups. Nominations will be received by the Griffith University Alumni Engagement Team and distributed to the relevant Academic Group judging panel for consideration. Winners of Group-level Outstanding awards for each category will be put forward to the University Awards judging panel for consideration and determination of the overall University Outstanding Alumni Award category winners. This means double the awards and recognition for our remarkable alumni!

Lawn bowls delight for business graduate
Jake Fehlberg last night collected Team Griffith’s 29th medal of the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games (GC2018) after Australia edged out South Africa in a gripping final of the Mixed Pairs (vision impaired) in the Lawn Bowls at Broadbeach.
It means that after seven days of sporting endeavour at GC2018, athletes from the Griffith University community have amassed 17 gold, four silver and eight bronze medals.
